1. Our Commitment to Website Security and Performance

KellyAdvantage.com LLC ("Kelly Advantage," "we," "our," or "us") is a professional web design, search engine optimization (SEO), local SEO, AI search optimization, digital marketing, and managed website services company based in Jacksonville, Florida.

At Kelly Advantage, we believe a business website is more than an online presence. It is an important business asset that supports search engine visibility, customer engagement, lead generation, advertising, and long-term business growth.

Since 1996, Kelly Advantage has helped businesses establish and strengthen their online presence through professional web design, SEO, local SEO, digital marketing, and website management.

Our managed hosting services go beyond traditional website hosting.

We maintain a professionally managed hosting environment that combines dedicated server infrastructure, website security technologies, software maintenance, monitoring, backups, licensed software, proprietary technologies, and specialized website management solutions.

To protect the integrity of this environment, Kelly Advantage maintains centralized administrative control over the websites and systems under our management. This approach helps reduce unauthorized access, prevent avoidable technical conflicts, safeguard client information, and maintain consistent security and performance standards.

Our objective is to maintain secure, reliable, and high-performing websites while protecting the investments our clients make in their online marketing.

2. Managed Hosting and Security Infrastructure

Kelly Advantage provides managed website services designed to support website performance, security, and ongoing operational stability.

Depending on the client's service agreement, these services may include:

Dedicated server hosting infrastructure
Individually managed client hosting environments
SSL certificate installation and management
Website security configuration and monitoring
Malware detection and security scanning
WordPress core, theme, and plugin maintenance
PHP and server software compatibility management
Website backups and restoration capabilities
Website performance and caching configurations
Licensed software and proprietary management technologies
Technical troubleshooting and website support

Our infrastructure is configured and maintained to reduce avoidable security risks and operational disruptions.

Although security measures significantly reduce exposure to common threats, no hosting environment can eliminate every cybersecurity risk.

3. Client Website Administrative Access Policy

Effective January 1, 2026, Kelly Advantage no longer permits clients or unauthorized third parties to directly edit, modify, install software on, or make administrative changes to websites operating within our managed dedicated hosting environment, except where expressly authorized in writing.

This policy applies to administrative functions such as:

WordPress dashboard administration
Installation, removal, or modification of plugins
WordPress theme modifications
Website builder and layout changes
Custom code, scripts, and database modifications
Server configurations and hosting control panels
Security, caching, backup, and performance settings
User permissions and administrator account creation
Other changes that may affect website stability, security, or functionality

Kelly Advantage reserves administrative control over the systems and configurations for which we are contractually responsible.

This policy is intended to protect website integrity, client information, licensed software, and the security of our managed hosting infrastructure.

It does not transfer ownership of a client's website content, domain name, or other client-owned assets to Kelly Advantage.

4. Why Administrative Access Is Restricted

Over the years, we have encountered situations in which unauthorized modifications, incompatible software installations, unsecured devices, and third-party access have resulted in website errors, performance issues, security vulnerabilities, and costly restoration work.

Even a seemingly minor change to a plugin, theme, page builder, or website configuration can create conflicts that affect website functionality, search engine optimization, lead generation, and advertising performance.

Uncontrolled administrative access can also expose websites to:

Malware and unauthorized scripts
Compromised user accounts
Incompatible software updates
Broken website layouts and functionality
Website downtime and performance problems
Lost or corrupted information
Security vulnerabilities affecting customer information
Disruption of tracking, analytics, and marketing integrations

By maintaining centralized administrative control, Kelly Advantage can apply consistent security standards, evaluate compatibility before making changes, and better protect the websites we manage.

5. Proprietary Software, Licensed Technology, and Website Configurations

Kelly Advantage utilizes a combination of commercial software, licensed plugins, custom configurations, and proprietary management technologies to support website operations and digital marketing services.

These technologies may be essential to website security, performance, functionality, analytics, search visibility, and maintenance.

Unless otherwise specified in a written agreement, Kelly Advantage retains ownership of its independently developed proprietary software, internal tools, custom management systems, and related intellectual property.

Third-party software remains subject to the respective publisher's licensing terms.

Clients may not copy, redistribute, modify, sublicense, or transfer Kelly Advantage proprietary technologies without written authorization.

Client ownership of website content, domain names, and other agreed deliverables remains governed by the applicable service agreement.

6. Website Updates and Content Modification Requests

Clients may continue to request website content updates, corrections, additions, and other modifications.

Requests may include:

Text and content revisions
Business information updates
Image replacements
New pages and website sections
Product or service changes
Contact information updates
SEO and local SEO improvements
Website functionality enhancements

Kelly Advantage will evaluate requested changes and implement approved work according to the client's service agreement.

Website hosting and routine maintenance do not automatically include unlimited content updates, website redesigns, SEO services, digital marketing, or new development work.

Additional work may require a separate service agreement or fee.

7. Unauthorized Changes and Restoration Work

Clients must not share administrative credentials, authorize third-party modifications, or attempt to bypass security restrictions without written approval from Kelly Advantage.

If unauthorized changes occur and result in website damage, security problems, performance issues, or operational disruption, Kelly Advantage may take reasonable steps to secure the affected systems.

Restoration, malware removal, troubleshooting, recovery, or additional development work resulting from unauthorized changes may be billed separately, subject to the applicable service agreement and law.

Kelly Advantage will make reasonable efforts to explain the issue and any additional charges before undertaking non-emergency billable work.

Emergency security measures may be necessary to protect website data, infrastructure, or other managed environments.

8. Client Website Ownership and Portability

Kelly Advantage respects the rights of clients to retain control of their business identity, domain names, website content, and other assets they own under their service agreements.

Clients are not required to remain on Kelly Advantage's hosting infrastructure indefinitely.

A client who prefers independent administrative control or wishes to work with another hosting provider may request a website migration.

Kelly Advantage will reasonably cooperate with the transfer of eligible client-owned website files, content, and database information, subject to applicable agreements, lawful obligations, and third-party licensing restrictions.

9. Website Migration to Another Hosting Provider

When a client chooses to move to another hosting provider, Kelly Advantage can prepare an appropriate website migration package using professional WordPress migration and backup tools, such as Duplicator Pro or UpdraftPlus.

Depending on the website configuration, the migration package may include:

WordPress website files
Website database
Website content and media
Themes and plugins that may lawfully be transferred
Other transferable website components

Certain proprietary systems, server-specific configurations, commercial software licenses, security tools, and management technologies may not be transferable.

Kelly Advantage will identify known material exclusions that could affect website operation following migration.

The receiving hosting provider or client's authorized developer will be responsible for installing, configuring, securing, testing, and maintaining the website after the transfer, unless separate migration assistance is agreed upon.

Any applicable migration preparation or technical service fees will be communicated in advance.

10. Security Responsibilities After Migration

Once a website has been successfully transferred and Kelly Advantage's hosting and management services have ended, the client and their new provider assume responsibility for ongoing website operations.

This includes:

Hosting and server security
Website updates and compatibility
Malware prevention and monitoring
Backups and restoration
Software licensing
SSL certificates
Website performance and uptime
Technical support and maintenance

Kelly Advantage will no longer be responsible for future website maintenance or security services unless covered by a separate agreement.

Responsibility for issues arising before the termination of services remains subject to applicable law and contractual obligations.

11. Protecting Client Marketing Investments

Website security and website performance are closely connected to digital marketing success.

A compromised or malfunctioning website can interfere with search engine crawling, lead forms, analytics, advertising campaigns, customer communications, and conversion tracking.

As a web design, SEO, local SEO, and digital marketing agency, Kelly Advantage takes a coordinated approach to managing website infrastructure and the technologies supporting online visibility.

Our administrative access policy helps us maintain consistent technical standards, reduce preventable disruptions, and protect the continuity of our clients' digital marketing operations.

12. Policy Implementation and Existing Agreements

Kelly Advantage adopted its restricted administrative access policy effective January 1, 2026.

The policy applies to websites managed under agreements that incorporate or otherwise authorize these access requirements.

Existing contractual rights remain subject to the terms of the applicable client agreement and governing law. Where necessary, updated agreements or written acknowledgments may be required.

Kelly Advantage may update operational security requirements as technologies and cybersecurity threats evolve, subject to applicable contractual and legal obligations.
